Wild: Utahraptor prime is known as an extremely hostile kind of Utahraptor living on the island in ARK Survival Evolved. This creature usually comes out in small packs and they normally try to assault the prey or the humans by utilizing its pointed teeth or the huge foreclaws.
Domesticated: Raptor is a hostile creature, but it is still considered as a good mount for wandering groups of attackers, and searching for bigger collectives. Some riders have announced that these creatures are extremely hard to domesticate, but once you got them, they are very faithful. After taming them, be sure that you feed them with meat for sustaining.
Raptor is also known as one of the quickest animals in the game. Its normal strategy is hit-and-run and it uses this way to escape away the bigger enemies. They also commonly annihilate the prey by launching various brutal attacks continuously.
When Raptors catch sight of other creatures or humans, they are willing to launch attacks against those targets. Using run-and-bite tactic, they will try to assault no matter what, which is so hard to protect against them. It’s really hard and impossible for the Raptors to assault and protect when they are assaulting in groups or being hit by the darkness. They usually assault from various directions, which will help them defeat the prey easily.
The size of Raptor is not huge! It has some feathers on several body parts, such as head, back, and tail. They have various colors, but the common ones are green, reddish brown.

Wild Stats Level-up
Input the values of an untamed creature to check on which stats it is stressed. The green values on a creature at a higher level are extremely great to breed. For those creatures that you have already domesticated, you could regain the breeding stats by utilizing the tool called ARK Stats Extractor.
After being domesticated, the creature will obtain more bonuses on several stats based on the taming effectiveness. This will cause it to be very difficult to take back the levels on a domesticated creature. Therefore, this tool can be used for the untamed creatures.
These values are only for optimum instances, they always carry additional supplies.
You can check out an external taming calculator to get a level-dependent count of the resources required.
Ingredients for Kibble (Parasaur Egg): 1 × Parasaur Egg , 1 × Longrass , 1 × Cooked Meat , 2 × Mejoberry , 3 × Fiber , 1 × Waterskin
If you want to stop it from chasing you, you should use Bola. When it stays unmoved, you can utilize Tranquilizer arrows and shoot them. But, don’t shoot arrows too much at Raptor. When the Raptor is senseless, you will start using Narcotic. The domestication will go easier and more effective if you utilize Narcotics and Prime. Also, you can use narcoberries and raw meat, which will bring you a better result as well. However, during your tame, you must also be aware of other raptors because they can appear in packs. Other predators show up in large numbers regularly in high-traffic locations. Stay watchful for them as well!
Raptors run and assault at a fast speed! All survivors must be prepared and react to their attacks in time. If a player has good speed and higher stamina, he/she will be able to overtake them easily. But, you should stay watchful all the time because these creatures are so determined. You must keep an eye on the surrounding areas of the raptor
Raptors usually come out in groups, at least two in a group, but it still depends on the location you come across them, especially near the shores or even in the forest.
You should try to stay away from them at a good distance, and shouldn’t get involved in them much. This will base on your armor, weapons, and current stats. Probably, you want to dodge them at first. Here is a trick for you! You should race to the group of trikes, stegos, and make the raptors attack, cause them to get angry unexpectedly, causing a redirection or a way to collect a bunch of hide and meat.
Using a crossbow and try to aim a headshot is enough to take down a raptor at level 1 to 20. You must aim carefully and shoot accurately because they are extremely fast.
Raptors are able to get closer to you from your back, so they are extremely dangerous. But finally, you will figure out their steps and you must begin to run away from them if you’re in this case. If these creatures get involved in the fight against a certain large creature, you must try to take them out, which helps you annihilate them easily.
Raptors don’t have high torpor. So, using several punches is enough to defeat them, of course, if you possess high melee damage stat. A weak survivor is also able to lure these creatures to the shores using a spear.
Raptors are great creatures for traveling! Their stamina can last long, but perhaps you will need to develop their stamina so they can become good transporters. You can also develop their assault damage if you need their help in the fight.
Damage: Raptor is a fast assaulter that has good damage. It is able to circle the foes effortlessly. It brings a nice attack animal.
Hunter: This creature provides with a good source of meat and hide after being tamed. You can use it as a hunter by equipping it with saddle, metal, and stone weapons.
Hunting/Battle Pack: Despite the fact that Raptors don’t deal more damage than direwolves, but they can domesticate more quickly, so you can easily arrange them in bigger numbers. Choose one for riding, or mount a larger one and set it as the center of your army.
Travel: Raptors are able to run and travel quickly, which makes it a great mount that can traverse the island fast. They are not able to carry stuff much.
Companion or Pet: Raptors can be kept and used as a companion or a pet.
Cave Mount: Sabertooths are considered as an advanced version of Raptors, especially their powers. However, Sabertoots usually get troubled when assaulting airborne creatures since they don’t have high hit box. It’s also hard for them to deal with a group of Onycs. While Raptors are completely able to! So, many Raptors can be a better choice. When you get a mount in caves, you will gain some advantages, like the food and water won’t decrease faster, your mount is able to transfer more items, or even give out damage.
Breeding Raptors is not complicated much! Similar to other creatures in the game, if you want to breed these creatures, just make sure that you already domesticated a male and female raptors. Lead them to a small location, let them stick together long enough to mate. Be sure that their wanderings are already enabled. You can’t breed them if one of the raptors is commanded to follow you or a certain creature.
Pen for breeding: Be sure that two raptors are so close enough for the mating to happen! The room size should be average and suitable, not too large, not too big either. Don’t worry, the domesticated raptors will not destroy the structures throughout a matting. You can construct one using thatch walls, and wooden fence bases. The raptors are able to get through a doorway, so you can build a reusable breeding pen by utilizing one thatch doorframe or thatch door in order to create one side of the pen.
Mating attempt: When you’re done leading these raptors to the breeding pen, you must allow wandering on them. If this wandering is already carried out, the female’s panel will display this text “\’Mating with [male\’s name and level]”, then there will be a progress bar show up beneath. It takes roughly 3 minutes for the mating process between a male at level 52 and a female at level 15 to happen. Once the mating bar is full, an egg will be laid by the female. The female won’t be able to breed once again in 1,5 hours, but the male can mate when needed.
Hatching the egg: Place the fertilized egg on the ground for the hatching progress to happen, and you should set a proper temperature, maintain it carefully. The egg will lose health when the time passes if it isn’t placed on the ground and the temperature is not suitable. In your inventory, the egg will be safe and not lose its health, therefore, you can save it if the weather goes worse. Just keep it carefully until the temperature becomes proper once again. At 19 degrees or under 19, the egg will be very cold, at 28 degrees or above 28, it will become very hot.
Similar to other Dromaeosauridae, some truly believed that sickle claw wouldn’t be utilized as a brutal weapon, it would be used for stabbing instead, just because of the claw’s dense profile. Dromaeosaurs include Utahraptor, Velociraptor, and Deinonychus, they possibly utilized the claws to pierce arteries and lead to inside bleeding, which can help them annihilate the prey fast. The sickle claw is also used for gripping the prey while their hands and teeth are being used for giving out wounds.
Utahraptor ostrommaysorum was initially researched and the name of it was based on the introduction of a movie called Jurassic Park. In this movie, there was also the same dinosaur named Velociraptor. The real size of Velociraptor mongoliensis was the same as a big turkey, and it was discovered in Mongolia. The dinosaur in Jurassic Park was scooped in the Badlands of Montana, and Utahraptor ostrommaysorum was found in Dalton Wells Quarry of Utah.
Raptors can be picked up and brought by Argentavis.
By hitting powerful herbivores, Raptors usually destroy themselves. Several strong herbivores are able to destroy the whole groups of Raptors.
The meaning of Utahraptor’s name is “Utah plunderer”
Raptors can be utilized as the mascots of the game. They turn up in various artworks and some holiday events of the game.
The in-game Raptors are illustrated with several feathers, which is different from the appearance of paleontologists
