Basic Info

SotF: The Dragon shows up on the platform in the middle of the match, and you are able to domesticate it. Remember, you can only ride it for a short period prior to turning on its lord.

Ark Survival Evolved:

In ARK game, the Dragon is known as a boss creature and it’s able to fight in the boss arenas. You can have an access to it from supply boxes and obelisks. You won’t be able to domesticate it in the ARK game.

Color Scheme and Regions

The Dragon usually has various and diverse colors on it. But, it was altered throughout the advancement of Dragon’s Boss Arena.

The Dragon generates the similar color scheme and it doesn’t have any color regions.

So, at the moment, it can’t make any changes to the natural spawn colors of the Dragon.

Attack Effects

Attack Type Effect Description
Alt Attack  Enflamed The target will be set on fire, 20% of their highest health will be burnt down more than 10 seconds.

The Firebreath-assault can deal 2000 damage and it can be used over 10 seconds. Melee damage state won’t have an effect on the flame damage, and for that reason, it won’t be developed by level-ups.

Wild Stats Level-up

Input the values of an untamed creature to check on which stats it is stressed. The green values on a creature at a higher level are extremely great to breed. For those creatures that you have already domesticated, you could take back the breeding stats by utilizing the tool called ARK Stats Extractor.

Remember, once being domesticated, the creature will obtain bonuses on several stats based on the taming successfulness. This will cause it to be very difficult to take back the levels on a domesticated one, therefore, this tool is only applied for the untamed ones, but it could be very impressed because of how perfectly the stats are given out.

Taming

The Dragon will vanish after 20-40 minutes once being domesticated, so, you must make a good use of it quickly.

Although the Dragon is not able to swim, it still can walk and fly underwater.

Combat

This is the part showing how to battle against The Dragon

General

Strategy

You need to keep a good distance away from the Dragon, or keep on moving. If you are riding on an Argentavis, you will be able to get closer to the its rear and try to go behind its tail, or stay at there. You can try to keep a distance away from its bite and flame. But, you need to stay watchful for its range, if you slightly stumble, you may lose your guard due to the range of The Dragon.

Weaponry

You can launch your attack to The Dragon using guns, a sword, strong tamed dinosaurs or even bring a tribe that has 5 to 10 players with you.

Dangers

The dangers include the fire breathing and being killed in a single bite.

Weakness

The behind of the dragon (Tail) is a weak spot because of how slow it turns, if it flies try to get on its back and hit it there.

Notes/Trivia

The Dragon is known as the second biggest creature, just right after the Titanosaurus in the game. It’s kind of bigger than other big dinosaurs, like Brontosaurus, DodoRex or even Giganotosaurus.

The Dragon vanishes after 20 minutes once being domesticated.

The purple and orange color scheme of Dragon can be an allusion to the Spyro franchise.
