The Titanosaur is a creature that you will encounter in a popular game called ARK . It is known as the biggest dinosaur that can be even higher than the Brontosaurus. One of the most outstanding traits of Titanosaur is that it doesn’t consume anything, it likes to be hungry until death! There are some information and details about this unique beast, let’s explore more now!

Basic Info

Wild: Titanosaurus was caught sight of when it was wandering around the mountain. It’s kind of huge and has some advanced armored plates on its body.

Domesticated: Titanosaur has a giant size, and it’s kind of overkill for a solitary rider. This creature can be used as a moving strong fortress. It is also able to carry large amounts of weight, defenses, structures, or other creatures when traversing the whole island. Some wandering tribes also build up their principal base on Titanosaur’s back.

Known Information: Titanosaur is a tough dinosaur to take down! Seemingly, it directly immunes to any kind of narcotic effects, and usually, these creatures accidentally smash other creatures around by making every single step. Other sauropods don’t really care about non-aggressive creatures, but Titanosaurs won’t leave other creatures alone when they intrude their private zone. This could be because they sharply eat up all the plants they discover. They repeatedly absorb, which helps them regain their health fast, even after they have battled against various deadly carnivores like Giganotosaurus.

The Titanosaur is a kind of tranquil and calm creature in the game. If there is a certain person trying to get closer to it, this creature will be so satisfied wandering around the land in order to hunt for food. Because of their roaming, they will accidentally clear a zone of forests. Provided that the creature is not under attack, nobody gets damaged. But if there is someone trying to assault it, it will become a terrible and aggressive enemy. The damage can last forever even if it just uses its weakest assaults.

Titanosaurus is seemingly the biggest creature in the game, and nothing on the island is able to reach it in size. It has a dense armor filled with bones. It is not scared of anything, and probably it will go wherever it wants. Because of their huge foodstuffs requirements, they are mostly alone, trying to absorb foods around the clock in order to power their giant bodies.

Using food or narcotics to tame Titanosaur doesn’t work at all! If you want to make it unconscious, you just try to assault its head using your Catapult Turret, Ballista Turret, Rocket Turret, or even Primitive Cannon. Doing so will knock it out, and its torpor will be very high. When the creature falls into its unconscious state, you should open the inventory and put a saddle on it. That means you will domesticate it quickly. On the official servers, the Titanosaur is just a short-term domestication, and once you put the saddle on, there will be a time countdown, around 16-20 hours before it’s getting hungry.

Weapon Type Torpor gained
Catapult Turret 70
Ballista Turret
Rocket Turret
Primitive Cannon 1200

Keep in mind that the values are only for optimal instances, they always carry additional supplies.

You can try utilizing an external taming calculator.

Preferred Food

On Official Servers, the Titanosaurs are not able to be fed with some foods. You can feed it on unofficial services. However, you’re required to utilize a command when you begin the server: ?AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true. Preferred food is Mejoberries.

You are able to add AllowRaidDinoFeeding=true in Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini in Single Player mode at the ending of [ServerSettings] Section.

KO Strategy

It’s very tough and difficult to domesticate a Titanosaur; you should try to tame it with the assistance of other tribe mates.

If you fire some cannon Balls to its head, you will make it gain more torpor. You can utilize other weapons like Rocket, Boulders and so on. But they don’t work much perfectly.  Just stay watchful for the amount of damage you deal, and you should try to target only its head. You should get two mates beside you when you assault the head of this creature simultaneously.

When it’s frustrated, it will be able to demolish a lot of structures around and other creatures, excluding Giganotosaurus in just a bit. You are highly advised to assault from the peak of a Quetzal that is provided with a Platform Saddle to keep out of the approach of the attack of Titanosaurs.

This creature makes a cool animation when it gets hit in the head, and when a good sound when the torpor works on it. This can be a good sign that you know if you’re successful in taming it or not.

You should get a tribe mate and bring a Magnifying Glass to observe the torpor. This will let you learn when it stops absorbing more torpor exactly.

You should have your parachutes handy in case the body of this creature clips through the body of Quetzal, which causes you to be in danger.

You are suggested to prepare a lot of raw meat because the stamina of Quetzal could wear off at least once.

You should learn that because the Titanosaur is kind of utilized as a temporary weapons of huge destruction, the opponent tribes will know that you have one, and they will view it as just war, which makes them prevent you. You should also try to protect them while tracking your Titanosaur.

You shouldn’t make an effort to fight against it unless you did bring your quetzals and some turrets, or some high-level creatures.

A solitary, lonely Titanosaur is kind of perilous. The tactic will mostly base on the blueprint of the stronghold and the weapons it has. Just remember that the opponents will possess a bunch of weapons. Sometimes, destroying the riders and their beds can be better than destroying the Titanosaur. If no pilot, one is able to divert the Titanosaur away from its base.

Try to utilize long-ranged heavy weapons, put the turrets on platform saddles, which helps them avoid the Titanosaur. Only powerful dinosaurs are able to take down the Titanosaur, but it can totally battle against level 120 Gigantosaurus.

Using 3 Allosauruses can destroy the Titanosaur. You should use the most powerful Allosaurus to attack the Titanosaur and then escape away from it. The Titanosaur will get blooded after taking 1 hit from the leader of a pack of Allosaurus, and it’s roughly 11000 damage. You should follow this way over and over again for a few minutes until the Titanosaur dies! After that, you should fire it with RPG to earn more XP, or you keep taking it out using your Allosaurus to give them more XP. But, you won’t get any XP if the Titanosaur dies from being blooded too much.

It’s not easy to kill Titanosaurs, even if you use a Giganotosaurus to kill it! But, you can totally destroy it if you and your tribe mates have some turrets ready. It has high health and power, so you have to use the most powerful weapons and turrets to deal your damage to it. Utilizing other dinosaurs is not a good way because the Titanosaurus can be taller than them.

Titanosaur is able to knock out the big dinosaurs in the game, especially the Giganotosaurus. This creature also smashes down other smaller and weaker dinosaurs by stomping on them or just passing by them. It can demolish the strong metallic structures.

It’s so difficult to catch up with the Titanosaur on foot, although they are big and presumed to be kind of slow when first seen. The domesticated Titanosaurs are kind of sensitive to fall damage and suffocating in water. This creature always makes an effort to move over big rocks.

While it’s swimming, the Titanosaur is unable to assault! For that reason, you can tempt an untamed one and make it move to the deep ocean then you can start launching your attack to it by using your Plesiosaurus and Mosasaurus.

The Titanosaur can be used as a siege weapon to assault the opponent bases. Thanks to its large platform saddle, it can carry the whole large fortress full of turrets, as well as allows for offering enough cover for the assaulters. Also, due to its large health and complete predominance over other tiny dinosaurs, the defenders are unable to take it down easily.

Titanosaur is the only creature that is able to demolish the metallic constructions and structures. Also, it’s able to break Metal Foundation within only 11 assaults. If you want to protect yourself against the stomp assault of Titanosaur, you need to construct a high rock that can be accessed without a flyer. But, you need to remember that you still get defenseless to any weapons that are placed on this creature, particularly if your rock is as tall as the back of Titanosaur.

Titanosaur is kind of powerful enough to knock out an untamed Giganotosaurus.

Titanosaurs don’t pick up the resources, they just only demolish trees

Argentinosaurus was known as the biggest dinosaur that ever existed. The Titanosaur was roughly estimated to be very high; it’s up to more than 100 ft. in length. There is another creature that is kind of related to Diplodocus; its name is Amphicoelias, and it could be even much bigger. Its height is roughly 200 ft. Nevertheless, both dinosaurs were kind of smaller than Titanosaur.

The kind Titanosaur is truly known as just an unsure name because it’s unable to be discriminated from other members of the family of Titanosaur. This will cause other names of kinds of Titanosaurs to be renamed, even though none of those creatures are as tall and big as Titanosaurs.

The meaning of the name “Vagacastrum” is “wandering castle”, which is very suitable for this one-dino moving stronghold.

There are only 3 Titanosaurs that are spawned immediately at the moment. Therefore, 3 domesticated Titanosaurs would prevent any other untamed ones from spawning.

Titanosaur is the only creature offering the Massive Animal Feces

Tamed or untamed Titanosaurus won’t be assaulted by untamed Giganotosaurus.

The body of Titanosaurs can’t be swallowed, and it doesn’t consist of any loot

Because of its giant size, it can’t go through a Behemoth Gate

The Titanosaurs can’t be moved between ARK’s.
